Lucky House cues

Lookin to buy some house cues (for home not commercial) and came across a good deal on 1-piece Lucky Brand cues made by McDermott. I was going to make a purchase on some Schmelke's but at $18 less a piece and free shipping seems like a better deal. Any one know if the Luckys are solid house cues or not?

$18 each is a big difference + free ship. There must be a difference in the quality. Johnnyt

PS:Johnnyt remembers back in the day going to the cue warehouse in NY and picking out 24 or 48 for $3.50 apiece for my room on Long Island.

You might consider the Diamond house cue with the patented

SMART TIP SYSTEM.

The tip will never come off. It is not a screw on or any other gimmick.

The tip is 'hollowed out and is glued on all sides to a hard plastic inset.

This is same material a standard ferrule is made out of.
So there is no way the tip can 'pop' off.
AND the tip actually reshapes itself to the proper size when using any english.

Another benefit is somewhat consistent tip thickness which is easier to adjust to.
