Ok,

I bought a Cue that was built by BHQ ( brent ) and it has a lyptus shaft and buckhorn ferrule.

Now, I've never played with this combo, what does the Buckhorn ferrule play like?

Also what does the Lyptus shaft play like? I've heard it's like Hard Maple.

Just looking for some insight

No time like the present to find out. If you own it, play with it.
Wow, That almost sounds wrong:D

I love the answer's you guys give lol. Well once I get the cue, sometime next week, I'll let you guys know.

All i had heard about Buckhorn ferrules, is they are harder than Ivory.

And the Lyptus shafts are suppost to play the same or a bit stiffer than Rock Hard Maple.

Buckhorn ferrules are not harder than ivory.

That thing is going to hit hard! I have a lyptus shaft on my J\B Jensen and it does the trick! Beautiful, smooth wood too...
