MAGIC CHALK – Need Dealers

Yea... right... Free market, but don't sell on eBay or AzB!!!

I know right.

What just got me was DONT sell here cause his son does. But that's messed up because I just bought a box from him. So he can sell here but no one else can

Then don't buy any. Yes, I should sell to guys like you for wholesale, then turn around and sell here on azb and compete with me, that makes sense

I can't stop you from selling here, go find some magic chalk and sell your brains out, but I'm not gonna sell to folks that have no other outlet to sell chalk except on azb and ebay, I have that covered, what I need is folks to sell elsewhere.

I sell 12 boxes a week on azb, so if we all sell here with my new 12 dealers, we will each sell a box....wow, what a great idea.

You know, Chevy will sell you all the cars you want but you can't sell them on eBay or another persons lot or territory....

If any dealers can't sell their chalk I will buy every last box back from them at the same price I sold it to the,.....a no risk proposition with the only caveat is to find your own customers.....wow, how unamerican of me.

Chalk going out today to a few dealers today. Still looking for a few more dealers.

If you don't want to do it, get your local pool hall to sell it. Hook me up with a contact and phone number of a pool hall that sells pool items, and I will take care of you in chalk or cash.......

A week ago I saw one player using this chalk. I asked him about it. He said that he likes it because: It does not cause mess on his cloths, hands or on the cloth of the table. He does not sell any pool products. He is a well off retired guy and hence I believed him.

Appreciate the honest review from your friend. And it does exactly what he described, plus it holds better and miscues less than all other chalks out there. As Dr. Dave showed during his test....heck , Dr. Dave was quite shocked how well Magic Chalk worked, even said other companies need to find out what they are doing and duplicate it.

And I'm feeling rather generous today, PM your address as you just won a free box of Magic chalk...Merry Xmas :grin-square:

Are you the manufacturer of magic chalk?
PM me dealer pricing please.

gr. Dave

No, I do not make the chalk. I am however the North American distributor of the chalk now. Anyone that wants the chalk has to go through me. There are still some folks that have the chalk here and there, but when their supply runs out, that's it.

I have over 1000 boxes, and another 1000 on order.

Quick one for ya -- do you have any colors besides blue and red? (Those two are the only colors I've seen available through the former channels.)

I'd love to get my hands on a few boxes of green, if that color's available?

You can order any color you want as long as it's blue ;).

It does work well on green cloth, because for whatever reason, does not mark up the cloth, or the shafts. I have olive green Simonis on my table, and you would not know I use blue chalk....

That's the color I'm currently using, and like you say, it works well for standard green cloth.

However, I recently bumped into a deal on an heirloom home table (a very old clawfoot Brunswick that my wife fell in love with), and for this table and the decor in our being-built entertainment room, a dark forest green cloth works really well with the dark wood and motif in it. The blue chalk is going to show up on that dark green cloth. (We tested that theory with a cube of my blue Magic Chalk, when the table was assembled in the place we bought it from.)

We tried a cube of green Masters, and that was much better. The table is disassembled at the moment, awaiting the entertainment room to be finished, so no rush.

But, in a pinch, if I *have* to use blue chalk, I'll just have to brush the cloth more often. Just that it would be nice if it were available in green.

Wow... That will look great...you have to post some pics of that beauty. Sorry about the lack of colors, but just don't sell enough to bring on a second color, but who knows.....down the road

What does Bump mean?
Being unnaturally manipulative [of] posts.

:p

What does it mean when you put words in brackets like this? I see this a lot, and haven't been able to figure it out on my own. Thanks.

Square-brackets are usually used in the following ways:

1. To indicate an optional word or phrase. Like in the example above, Terry (Blue Hog ridr) makes a funny by asking what "Bump" means. I tried to make a funny in kind by indicating the word "Bump" was an acronym for "Being unnaturally manipulative [of] posts." The word "of" is an optional word, in that the "o" in the word "of" was not represented in the acronym "bump," but is necessary to make the phrase complete. (The word "of" is considered a "minor" word [there are several of these same types of words], and in acronyms, it's not usually represented with a dedicated letter.)

2. When you use parentheses, and you want to embed another set of parentheses, you use the square brackets as the "inner set" of parentheses. For example, notice the last sentence in bullet #1 above:
(The word "of" is considered a "minor" word [there are several of these same types of words], and in acronyms, it's not usually represented with a dedicated letter.)
Notice the embedded set of parentheses, where square brackets were used to avoid confusion as to which set of parentheses ends where.

Hope that helps!

We have tested the "Great White" on several colors but not Forest Green... It will get some white on the table during play but since it is 99.8% pure it will not leave stains behind... IF you are willing to give me feedback on the Forest Green I'll send you out a cpl of pieces to try....

Spots filling up. Chalk orders out to several new distributors. Time to make some extra cash. All you can eat, baby ;)

I hear that Vlad Poutine wouldn't use anything else.

He wanted it in red, but they said, "screw that".
