Magic Chalk Review

As most of you know, RJ has decided to sponsor me for the U.S. Open. I thought it would be appropriate to write a review of Magic Chalk.

Previously, I have been using one of the other leading chalks, which I thought to be the best on the market. However, I have now been using Magic Chalk for almost a week. I have yet to miscue, and I do not remember having a ball skid on me yet. The chalk sticks well on the tip, and does not cake up like some of the other brands. Chalk marks on the cue ball are easily wiped off, and are not sticky or messy. Honestly, this might be the best chalk I have ever tried. I am glad to be sponsored by such a high quality product. Thank you RJ and Magic Chalk.

Sincerely,

Mike Wong

P.S. If anyone is interested in purchasing Magic Chalk they can contact ChicagoRJ or send an email to shootpool2004@yahoo.com

I've wanted to try some of that chalk. Good luck in the US Open, great field this year.

Way cool you picked up a sponsor, I have never seen you play and know nothing about you.

But I will have to agree with you , magic chalk does make a noticeable difference and I think its one of the best chalks on the market.

Good luck

This chalk is the worst chalk ever. The people that are using it should send it to me. I'll replace half used cubes with brand new Masters chalk.

I haven't tried that one out yet. Magic Chalk is by far my favorite chalk on the market. It only took me buying about $500 worth of different chalks to figure that out......LOL.
I havent spent $500 on chalk in over 25 years of playing. I bet i haven't spent over $100

The Best

Russian Magic chalk is the best I have ever used. I gave Karen Corr a cube some months back and now RJ probably has trouble keeping her supplied!

I like to give stuff away and let other people try that too. The two different kinds of Kamui chalks got expensive giving out and I gave out a ton of Blue Diamond. A select few got some Russian Magic Chalk.

Thanks Mike.

Very nice of you to do this.

Mike is my first sponsor of a pool player, and he's going over and beyond what I expected. He's called me a few times already. Told me he's letting everyone try out the chalk. He wanted more than one Magic Chalk patch so he can put them on some other shirts as he's playing in some tourneys before and after the OPEN. How cool is that

Just a nice guy to business with, and hope you do well at the Open. You are the kind of guy companies would love to sponsor in the future.

So, far I feel like I'm stealing having you on board. Thank You.

Hi RJ,

Thank you for the kind words and thank you for the opportunity to allow me to compete.

Where does all this fall in Dr. Dave's extensive chalk testing?

It's at the very top and surpasses all of the chalks Dave tried by a wide margin. You won't be disappointed if you buy from RJ. If you aren't satisfied I'm pretty sure he will buy it back and if he doesn't I will.

Magic Chalk is fantastic. Agree with all the comments.

Just ordered a couple more boxes from Seybert's - I think they charge $1 more for a box of two than RJ. Plus it helped me hit my minimum for free shipping!

Mike, magic chalk is good. but it's really not far from the regular blue masters or triangle chalk. practice well. all the best in the US Open.:)

Actually arps that is completely wrong... It's a premium chalk... It has graded abrasives and plenty of them...

The Dr Dave test was wrong on so many levels it is not funny but one thing he got right was the fact that Magic Chalk IS good chalk and LAVA is not....

With a human stroke comes a human mind... If you really want to find out if the misscue limit is different on a premium chalk then you better spend about a month using nothing but it.. Otherwise your subconscious is conditioned to only hit the cueball so far outside of center regardless of how hard you try to hit further out...

The Dr Dave results were altered at least 3 times with data sets being removed and additional selective test results introduced... This would not hold up in publishing or academia.. Dave knows it and knows what results were removed... I have not looked to see what it looks like recently but that the way it was a few months back....
