Magic rack or delta 13

He guys I am thinking about getting a new rack and I am considering the magic rack 10 8 combo for $16 and the delta 13 for $50. I was wondering have any of you had any experience with these and how well do they work? The magic rack looks cool but a little flimsy and fragile. I am not sure how long it would last especially if it is left under balls when you break.

Which one do you suggest and why?

I have both and use them both.

delta13 is a great rack for 1pocket, straight pool, etc

I use the magic rack for 9 and 10 ball. Going to pick up the 8ball magic rack soon.
 
Why not get both? Only a $16 difference.

I use the magic rack and it is pretty dang cool. I love getting a perfect rack each time. The downside is the balls roll over it. This can alter the path slightly. Mine really hasn't worn out much. I flip it over and use the reverse side occasionally.

You can either punch the holes as it suggests, or just put hole re-enforcers right on the paper.

Is thinner than a magic rack too, and lasts a lot longer than you'd think.

Triangle racks... eeh.
 
If you can only buy one then go with the Delta simply because you can use it for all games. Get the leather damping inserts; they make a big difference in the noise level.

I have and use both. I also have a Slug Doctor and it is better than the MR in my opinion. The SD for 9 & 10 Ball is available at Pooldawg for $24.95. If I mainly played those games I wouldn't need the MR at all. But since I normally play 14.1 or 8 Ball and mainly use the Delta, the MR does get some use.

This times 3!!!

You WILL get a more consistent rack in 9/10 ball with a Magic Rack vs Delta 13 IMO. But, when racking 15 balls, I'm not a fan of the MR and the Delta is as good as it gets for triangular racks.

(I thought Deltas were more than $50, sounds like you're getting a good deal on it).
 
I own both and would say depending on what your using them for, how often you play, where you play, etc each has its pros and cons. What ever one (trust me just get both) you get will be money well spent
