Magic Rack + Sardo Rack, we don't need them

Let's say the Sardo Rack and the Magic Rack are the standard because they give us perfect frozen racks every time, and as a result, the wing ball goes in 90% of the time. We are demanding a perfect rack and if we don't make the wing ball (or some other ball in 10-ball), we feel cheated. We can easily fix everything. Let's just pretend we are all using them! That's right! After all, we are entitled to a perfect rack resulting in a guaranteed ball on the break. Think through it and take the next step. We don't need these racks at all. Really! Let's all just pretend we make a ball on the break because, after all, we are supposed to if the balls are racked properly. With "breaker shoots after a legal break", everyone is made whole every time. It's fixed. We don't need the gadgets. The gadgets could fail but the rule would not.

I am challenging the concept that these racks serve a useful purpose. I am saying that there is a more sensible solution. I am not making a joke.

I like this thought. In fact, let's indeed take this through to it's logical conclusion. We certainly don't need the Magic Rack, Sardo rack, or any racks at all!. I propose that we all just play the fabulous game of pocket billiards exclusively in our minds! This novel, revolutionary approach to our sport has many unique advantages over the old, stodgy "physical realm" approach to the game. Observe the benefits:

- no arguing over the rack, EVER!
- no need to feel cheated on the 1% of the breaks that a ball is not pocketed
- no need to practice the break, in fact, no need to practice the game, ever! I mean, really, practice is an antiquated concept anyway. We are all supposed to be champions regardless of intellect, skill, and ability, so why waste our time and energy trying to achieve in this corporeal world what we already know in our minds.
- Gambling sessions are easier. Oh, you just ran a 12 pack of nine ball across your frontal lobe? Well, let me just tell you that I responded with a 24 pack of my own. Now, pay me the $100K you now owe me!
- no more stress at the thought of losing, no more nervous shaky feeling at the table, no need for performance enhancing drugs, etc.
- no need to buy expensive cues or a nice Diamond table either. In fact, no need for a 14' X 18' space, so this is a very efficient, eco-friendly, green approach (great for marketing!).

I'm sure that you all can think of many other reasons that this wonderful idea will work. There are just a few downsides though. There is no feeling of actual accomplishment and no advancement of one's character. No matter though, we can all be the champions that we already know that we are! And right now too. Without any effort. It's the American way...
