Magnetic brain stimulation for motor learning.

A few days ago I mentioned in another thread that scientist were experimenting with electrical pulses to aide in motor learning. Here is an article that discusses using magnets to do the same thing. There are several articles on the net about this topic. They are not 100% sure that this really works and I for one would be really reluctant to try it.

I think that it is an intriguing thought that one day we could speed up learning a game like pool by getting hooked up to a machine.

Very "Matrix" like idea ... but immediately all I thought of was the dude in Color of Money that Fast Eddie lost his butt to.

When they start talking about electric impulses in your brain, I like to let them test that stuff out on other people first. Kind of like the soldiers they issued sunglasses to and had them watch the nuclear explosion. No thanks.
