You make an excellent point. This is a complicated issue. Let me distill this down to a couple issues.
But first let me apologize to all the 3c forum posters and readers. I do not want to or ever intended to use this forum to spam anyone. I have contacted Jerry Forsyth more than once wanting to legitimately advertise on Az. I've crunched the numbers and tweaked the scenarios and right now paid advertising is not sustainable for the U.S market(imho). I have many AZ supporters who have faithfully supported me and I thank you. I hope as 3c continues to reguvenate itself in this country the decision to advertise 3c products will be a slam dunk.
That said...some of us have done our part in sending 3c related info to Jerry and Mike and they have been more than co-operative in publishing these articles. I have no axe to grind with AZ. They have been more than fair and honorable. But when push comes to shove.....the reality is that pool dominates over caroms from almost every perspective. AZ does what it's subscribers wish. They are not stupid. Therefore what?
Therefore I propose a small group of us have a conference call and establish some strategies and goals to help bring carom news and carom interests to the forefront on AZ Billiards. We already have Jerry and Mike as friends. We just need a concerted effort.

Well since the USBA has a new Website,
Why not creating a Nice Forum for Billiards in general, Snooker pool and 3 cushion , And let the top players share at the beginning their Thoughts ,it makes the USBA forum more INTERACTIVE... you might have more members .

I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in knee-jerk responses demonizing the USBA. Everyone has a bogeyman and for some their bogeyman is the USBA.
In a previous life when I was a juggler, the organization that some would wail against was the IJA (International Jugglers Association). To read some of the post one would get the impression the IJA was responsible for famine and pestilence.
People are people and finger-pointing has become a cottage industry especially on forums like this.
Many of these posters give their m.o. away with one sentence quips. They very rarely advance the ball in any meaning full way and explain away all the ills in their sport/hobby by roasting the organization that represents their sport/hobby.
Pretty typical stuff...so no Gilbert... there is nothing wrong with your post and I agree that AZ Billiards can be a vehicle for highlighting our sport.

Agree on that. I've seen a lot of negativity about the USBA and how little they have done. and frankly if it wasn't for the USBA instead of little we would have had nothing. I'm glad the USBA is trying and doing something.

Please don't forget that the USBA WEBSITE WAS MY IDEA before i joined the usba board of directors , that was like 3 or 4 years ago... And I got hammered by the board , You supported me , But not the rest . I took 4 year to approve and built a website ( I understand money and help were missing )
Paying top players entry fee is more important than attracting the youth.
More than 2000 viewers attracted by Bill Smith post and the rest ,their is no Pedro's Picture in the frontpage of AZ web, or any 3 cushion news, IS this fair?.
I am not blaming the USBA , YOu know how much I promote billiard for the USBA, and for free like the rest of us .
I guess we have to average 5 to be on the AZ page, players where complaining why Pedro is not playing AGIPI or Worldcup .... LOLLLL
They should change AZ pool to Az billiards ( pool ,3cushion, snooker) first.

In fact AZTV and Jerry Forsyth in 2008 tape 15 min of the FIRST Ladies 3 Cushion Billiard Championship Tournament held in the USA. This might be the only video of this event.
Check their archive videos you will find some 3C videos.

For example: 4 of us agree to send in timely news on 3c to AZ Billiards. Gilbert has the month of November...Steve has the month of December...Joe Blow has the month of Janurary and so on..

Fox, Zensteve This all sound great... But shouldn't you start with contact email, where nonMembers and USBA Members can submit info whether on AZBilliards, ProfessorQball, USBA Website, or others.
Example: You post about 4th Ladies World 3 Cushions Billiards Championship Tournament here in Carom Billiards Section... But nothing more, other than Kozoom will live stream.. No Result anywhere. Neither can anything be found at USBA Website or ProfessorQball .. or even on AZBILLIARDS Or Kozoom, not to mention Neither at Union Mondial de Billard site as for how Ester Park is doing!!!!
