I've got a MAK made in 1998. It's cue # 003. It's my current player. MAK is the initials of his kids.

That is sweet, Gary! Unique and classy...

What did you play with when you were a Roadie? Something pretty or something sneekie?

Mr. Bushwacker - what does, " MAK " mean ?

Nice looking cue Gary - how's she play ?

original logo

So why would Mike put those initials on a cue for Bushwacker ?
That was Mike's original logo.
Bill McDaniels named the cases he made Kelli after his daughter Kelli. He engraved it on most of the cases but not all.

Sorry Gary i got side tracked but meant to thank you for sharing pictures of your fantastic cue., Bob

call me old fashion, tell me I'm in a time frame, suggest I have no flair for the modern,Even suggest that I am a close friend with Timmy and Mike, but I gotta say"Now here is a pool cue" Traditional with a twist, and you know how they hit. I love Scruggs cues, but what is MAK?

Hi Tommy,
MAK cues were built my Mike Cochran. Out of Tim Scruggs shop. bobco729 meaning of the initials are correct. The initials of his children. This was Mike's original logo. Now he uses his initials MC. He was building these cues
about twelve years ago. Not too many were made. The cue plays great. As does the other two Tim Scruggs I have listed here.
Thanks Mike,
Gary

Thanks Gary - your explanation I understand.

So in this case MAK is important as in a certain time period.

Love the cues and I would love to see you hit with them someday, or actually any cue.

Your kinda a legend here in Michigan
