I guess your average pool players are not ready for ten ball so....

... I'm mixing it up. 8,9 and 10. Throwing ladies events in the mix and just calling it a billiard tour. I drove from Lawton Ok to Houston Tx for nothing. Got a few ideas from a good friend and we are reaming up to make this tour successful.

Think we are leaning towards calling the tour The Great American Billiard Tour. Still sponsored by LH but endorsed by Charlie Bryant. He and his wife had some really good ideas and I think they will be a huge asset for my tour.

I have one ? Though. Im thinking about enforcing the same rule in 9 ball that there is in 10 ball. Making the 9 on the break in the foot pockets...
Respots or breaker has option to rebreak. Good idea?

Nope . You already have that rule in 10ball , & your also playing 10ball , so let 9ball keep it's rules. 9-on-the-snap is a win. Don't try to be like the APA and bastardize all the games through cross-pollination . . . .

Great American Billiard Tour sounds less regional . Especially if it comes to the SOUTHEAST.. .

First, let me say that i am not good enough to play on the tour and therefore will not play on it. That said, I believe that you probably know who the top 25 to say 50 players on your tour will be, just poll them and go with the majority. Those are the people that you have to satisfy because without them you wont succeed.
PS: even though I make the 9 on the snap more than average, I have never liked it in a tournament situation. Spot the dang thing up and get on with the game lol! For instance, I go to tournaments to watch great shots and hopefully learn something. That will happen more by watching people runs racks, not watching the 9 on the snap. Just my opinion and you know what those are compared to.
