Have not smoked my Cuban cigars in a while, so decided to go outside with my Pierce cue I just got today and take some pictures

I can always add quality cigar or two if you buy cue of me!!! I brought about 9 boxes from my trips to Cuba))) or I can trade few boxes for something

Cue is made out of Jim's famous bowling alley maple, both butt and shaft, second shaft is 30 inch Predator 314-2, and third is Varney LD (got a while ago, amazing low deflection shaft, will never sell it).15oz butt, lizard wrap, feels great

butt and shaft have interesting sugar marks, original shaft has breaking tip on it, I guess previous owner used it as a breaking cue

shaft, joint, buttcap and rings are made out of phenolic

Brilliant cue. As much as we seek out different and unique its hard not to stop and admire the beauty in simplicity.

...and I'm a huge fan of re-purposed woods with a story.

So you've essentially got the best of both worlds here.

Thanks for sharing.

Lmfao:)))

I built this cue for me. The VNEA nationals were a few months ago and I needed a brk cue so I whipped it up, then I sold my set when we got home. Well hope u dig it I thought it was a monster brk cue. Jim

Nice package

Nice cue sir, but I've spent all of my allotted money on cues lately.

I do have a few bucks left, so give me a price quote on the half drank Corona and the partially smoked Cuban in the pic and I may be able to work a deal.....lol

Thanks, Jerry

Boy, you sure cut a lot off the end of that torpedo.

I like to snip those on an angle making the cut area larger.

Hate to burst your bubble, but your cigar is a fake. A bad one at that. Stop buying your smokes in the street, regardless of the story that you hear... Only buy from the gov stores while on that island.

I can ship you few- some form the duty free and some are not and if you can tell me difference between them (after removing band from them) I would be pretty surprised
I have smoked for a while and tried lots of cuban sticks brought form cuba and bought here in canada and can tell difference without just looking at box and bands

I've been a pro smoker for about 15-20 years. I got burned many a time in my early days. That was long ago. And right up until I had my first child, I was spending about $1,500 per/mo on the cubans. Wasn't smoking that much, but putting most away for aging. I haven't bought any new ones in 5 or 6 years, so my collection is down to just a few thousand sticks, but only the good ones ;)

I've written a few articles on fakes, as well as hosted my own URL regarding them. I'd love to do a blind test btw...

ok, I will ship you few (in a week or so as they are at my parents place- I move too much lately), PM me your address.
so you can tell az community how good or not my cigars are and what they worth- I was not gonna rob anyone anyway here on forums and was not gonna charge 30-50$ per cigar either

blind test it is, I will mark them with numbers and will take a picture with bands beside numbers before sending them, and will show everyone picture after you write about them- sounds good?

whoa, a little defensive there...

I wasn't taking this as a challenge to show AZ your cigars are good or bad. Rather, just letting one cigar fan to another know he had a fake on his hands. If you knew what goes into those fakes, you wouldn't be smoking them, for any reason. And if you indeed got swindled, you should be thanking me, not challenging me.

Additionally, I was not trying to assign a value to your smokes. If they're fake, they're worth nada. Period.

"I was not gonna rob anyone anyway here on forums and was not gonna charge 30-50$ per cigar either" ... WHO SAID YOU WERE??? Why so defensive...??? Chill, dude. Was just looking out for you. Sorry to help.

Based on all that funny behavior, I'm not really sure I'd be interested in a test, your test. I know my smokes, don't need to prove it to anyone. Was just looking out for you. Enjoy the fakes.

PS, various duty free shops have been known to sell fakes for decades.

it was not defensive at all, at least I did not intend to be, sorry if I offended you in any way. I am a friendly person who like challeges. I thought it would be pretty cool to send you few smokes as you know your stuff and would probably would like some free cigars and might say something about them to az community. if you dont want- thats alright with me
I am shipping a cue today with 1 cigar (only one I have one me right now) to one of the member here, I am sure he will have some feedback about it
