Looks nice. Can a person dye or stain their own veneers or is it not worth the hassle, if any. I read on here that the colors bleed sometimes, depending on the glue used. I imagine that there is good dye and not so good when it comes to running or bleeding. What kind of dye or stain is the best to use?

Craftsmen that know what they are doing don't have bleeding problems. They are either using wood glue or sealing the sensitive colors (try Minwax Wood Hardener) prior to laminating them with slow set epoxy. Of course you can dye your own veneers. Part of the fun is the trial and error of figuring out how.
