How bout the guy who's claws you had to rip that cue out of? :D That is a beautifull cue, hard to believe anyone would part with It. Mark seems to have a knack for putting colors together, as only a few others do. I'm willing to bet that quite a bit of work went into that one also, from the looks of some of the woods used, and the splices. Very Nice Cue, that almost Anyone would be proud to own I'm sure. You lucky dog.

Where would Mark Bear rank in the q-maker pecking order? I don't hear much about him, but he makes a hell of a full splice.

I would place him in the up and comming cuemaker category. John Parker, Mike Stacy, plus a bunch more. I would rather buy a cue from one of these guys than a well know cuemaker who no longer cares, doesn't do what they promise to do, sells you an inferior product, and somehow make themselves out to be the victim. JMHO

This cue was on display at the 03 US Open for $2,195. I will sell it to an AZ member for $1,350. I have one interested AZ member now. Thanks for looking, Don P.

Beautiful cue Mr. Purdy, Mark is a great guy and a very good cuemaker.

Thats why I bought it Mike. I got a nice deal on a cue and he made some cash. Win, Win. That's how it SHOULD work. I have met Mark twice. He is a very nice guy.

I have seen it in person and can honestly say that it is more beautiful in person than in the pics, which is saying it is AWESOME.

If I had the $, it would be mine. A fine cue.
