Mark Gregory Rails

I had mark redo my rails on a GC 3. He installed Artemis rails to simulate a diamond. I meant to post this a long time ago - to me it plays better than any GC or blue label Diamond around. I’m definitely not wanting to start a Artemis/superspeed argument but if you’re considering improving your rails Mark Gregory is the guy. The attention to detail is unprecedented.

Are you local to Mark? Who removed and reinstalled them. What was the time frame to start /complete. My GC4 was swapped to MBS 12 years (2010) after purchase and I think the rails need to be readdressed.

Yes I’m local. He reinstalled them. Took 2 weeks

Mark's work is about the best in the business if you want a Gold crown, Anniversary or any other restored. If you have his bed and rail work done you'll be shocked. It's worth shipping them to him for the quality of t he job.

Mark Gregory rebuilt the rails on my GC1.

After a little more than a year of practicing and playing on my table I have to say the new rails have ruined me.

If Mark had never done the rails on my table I could have lived in ignorant bliss. Now when I go out I get so pissed off at the poor table conditions it's starting to affect how I play. On my home table well struck balls go in the pocket and stay there. What a concept!

But since I now know what real pockets play like I want to bust stuff up every time a ball gets spit out merely because of poorly maintained pockets. I can beat myself well enough, I don't need a table to help me.

I guess it really is nice to know how a table is supposed to play. But I have to blame someone for my frustration!

And yes my table plays that good, so thanks.
