I saw, in another thread, a iP match featuring Cecil Tugwell and Mark Tadd.

I seem to remember that Tadd passed away some years ago. Can someone refresh my memory or is this a symtom of old age?

He has not passed..he actually has started playing a bit more frequently again. Even posting in some of the facebook action threads. Look him up on Facebook.

Thanks, guys. I will take more memory meds and also check out Facebook.

He is looking for a sponsor to play in some of the upcoming BIG MONEY one pocket events. Anyone who interested should contact Mark or me asap.

We have events end of May and end of June

Forget the meds....Mr Tad, the cuemaker, has passed on....his name was Tad Kohara.
...Mark Tadd's name is actually Mark Tademy.
......the names have been confused before....understandably.

I watched Tadd play at the DCC this year....watched him play in '95 at Cuetopia.
....he played two balls better in '95.

Good call pt109...but here's something I bet you didn't know. Mark is originally from Pocatello ID, although he lived in UT for a very long time! :D

Takes a little bit to get the rust off, but the talent is there.

You probably mixed him up with Johnny Wadd who passed away some time ago

Wait, so my Tad was built by Kohara and not Tademy....damn. I hope that doesn't lower the value.

Wadd on earth are youse guys sayin? Mark is alive, I saw him on a stream at Derby.

PT, I knew the difference between the 2 gentlemen and knew that Tad(cuemaker) had passed but somehow, in my feeble brain, I thought Mark Tadd(Tademy) had passed, also.

Appreciate your observations about his performance in the past and recently.

Considering we saw him alive and well last month at the Derby City Classic, I'd say it wasn't because of his old age.

However, so that you don't think you are insane (due to this one post), there were several rumors of his passing ten years ago or so.

Freddie <~~~ you still could be insane, however

I just want you to understand this is a forum....so I'm replying to you but everyone else can read the response. I see so many posts with innuendos that require experiences that many posters on here don't have....hence the general knowledge thing.

Alzheimer's 'n all, I enjoy your posts, Rhino.....:)

The talent is still there for sure.
I talked briefly to Mark....we were laughing about extra poundage that seems to come with getting older.
...when Tadd sets up on a shot, every player knows he's a player.

No one seemed to mention that Cecil Tugwell did pass away. Dying from being an old, weather & substance worn poolplayer. It was very sad.

I understand completely the difference between a p.m. and a post but I do not truthfully see anything in my post or yours that is offensive.

Your observation is just that- it is not the gospel, just your thoughts and I appreciate your straight forward address on many subjects on different threads here on AZB.

I certainly hope no one took offense at my original post or other replies in this thread.

Finally, I look forward to seeing Mark play in the near future.

Corey, when I lived in Anaheim back in 91-92 I played you once at Hard Times. At that point I'd only been playing 6 months and wanted to play better players to get good. After you schooled me I started picking your brain a little and asked if you thought you were as good as Tadd. You just laughed at me and said "Mark Tadd is possibly the best player in the world right now!" I remember that like it was yesterday.

Do you remember a guy named Ante that had a real funny stroke but could play real good?He played at Hard Times too.I can't remember his last name though.
