Market for beat up Palmers?

I picked up this beat up Palmer and was wondering if there is a market for them either for parts, since I have heard that the foil is pretty hard to come by, or for restoration? The gold foil says "Slim".

You're looking at 4-500 minimum on that cue. If you part it out, the blank alone is 400 and the foil will be worth a fair penny to Slim.

I pm'ed you my email address, please send closeups of all parts.

Value

I see Palmers like this selling on ebay aroubd 600 in fair condition, intact.

If somebody offers 400, run with it.

I suggest that you have a cue maker set this cue back up for you..Reason being--the area under the wrap is not bolted to the forearm of the cue--it appears to be one peice there. Most of the Palmers I ever saw--under the wrap there was a different section screwed into the forearm--your is one piece as I have stated--this may be a Gus -Palmer--if so --it would be a shame not to restore it. I had one that I did away with the plastic gaudy stuff at the bottom, and had a turned piece of wood there instead..Good Luck With What Ever You Decide
