I just bought 2 cheap cues on ebay, without a finish with 2 shafts. $59.00 free freight. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Shafts-Ra...972?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a1d093874

When they get to me I will put a finish on both and Leather wrap and will take before and after pictures. On one shaft on each cue I will put an everyday XXXXXXXXXX cue tip. On the other shaft I will put my fav layered tip.

I will find two local Pool Rooms that will let me put up a little try my xxx Layered tip sign. They will be given both shafts to see the differance in playability. The sign will also have a before and after sign to show refinishing and wrap work. I may or may not have to grease the Pool Room owner a little per job or they may allow me to do this for free to service there spot.

Another good way is to just finish 1 and put a hard and soft layered tip on the finished one and leave the other unfinished with tips that come on it and carry them around for people to bang balls around with.

Either way, I'm building a customer base. I have been away from the area and game for 12 years so I have to start from scratch.

A guy that worked at the hall bought quite a few goodies from Wengzehende.
Amazingly enuff, the cues are in decent shape and play well.

Wengzehende likes to dicker. Why not see if you can get him down a bit more on the price.

Over the Weekend, LOL I had those little polystyrene peanuts flying all over the place Friday night and using it to put tips on my shafts an hour later. I am going to do a video for Youtube but will post some pics on here first.

The Hightower Mid Size is the ONLY lathe for the new Cue repair person because if you want to step up to full Cue Making you can just simply add to your initial investment so you have zero wasted money.
