Is there no limit to how awesome this guy is? Last night on the POV stream he informed everyone of his pro bowling status. I'm truly in awe of his knowledge of EVERYTHING!!!

I was once playing Marty, and he was going on about people questioning why his successful, dentist wife would marry him, when suddenly he turns to the poor guy playing socially next to us, looks him in the face, gestures towards him and says, "How could she not marry me... look at the competition."

It's quite easy to recognize someone that is extremely insecure with himself. Anyone that goes on and on like Marty does, has issues and doubts, and needs to be CONSTANTLY stroked on the head and patted on the back for reassurance.
He may try to hide it behind a joke -- like that "look at the competition" jab at the guy playing socially on the next table over -- but rest assured, that is a request -- no, a plea -- for reassurance. Don't let the disguise fool you.
Just ignore him. The more you interact with him, the more he's going to glue you into his inner circle of yes-men, of names to call upon -- most likely in a public situation like a chat room -- to reassure him. And trust me, don't think you'll get away with calling him out. Marty's ability to have a conniption fit all over people that refuse his requests for reassurance is legendary.

A couple years ago I made a comment to Marty and he proceeded to log out and send me a PM as an anonymous poster and send me a scathing PM, using every curse word in the book. And then he logged back in and continued on BS'ing as if nothing happened.

Just a reference from when he came in the stream last night talking crap about having been a professional bowler who went on tour. A quick thinking Mod in the room did a background check and thought Marty was lying. He called him out on it and Marty flipped. He was quickly escorted out of the room by a rough leather boot.
Pretty funny when marty goes into the delusional mode. He mentions twice in the chat that he was NEBA bowler of the year in 1976.

That leads to cmbwsu mentioning he went to school with O.J. and daniel asks me to search on that and if its a lie he would get kicked too, lol. As it turns out bob did go to school with O.J.. Rumor has it O.J. played the game with a Meucci Knife cue and _lost_ let us know he may have done it with a bloody pool glove!

It will be more like 3 weeks, lol.
Marty will fire up Barbra Streisand's version of Avinu Malkeinu early in the morning like he has done in the past and he will be OK. Marty has good taste in music and that is a great version of that tune.
