Very strange rules can't jump at all not even the edge of the ball with your playing cue and no masse shots at all allowed

I don't think Keith was out of line at all calling it was clearly a masse shot that Shaun did.

This room is not, nor has been owned by "players". The current and now departed owner are business men, who cater 99% to amateur pool players. The intent is to preserve the equipment.

It was a hoot when Florian "venom" arranged a trick shot exhibition a couple years back. The owners were clearly seething as he left burn marks and dents in their beloved Simonis.

These are the rules of the house, not this tournament specifically.

This is primarily an APA house with over 110 teams participating. The thought of lower-ranked players trying to jump or massé balls on a repeated basis is frightening.

When I first started coming to this room I hated the rule because I felt that they should make allowances for better players in tournaments such as these, but I have grown accustomed to not being able to jump balls as it improved my kicking game.

They do allow slight massé shots, they are not completely Draconian...LOL
