master spots

I have some old double gummed master spots on my 860 simonis I'd like to replace. I tried peeling them off but it doesn't seem like they want to come off. I'm going to replace them with new ones, any advice?
 
Geez, usually they wont stay on. Somebody glued 'em I'll bet. Try a tip pick and lay a wet cloth on top for a few minutes.
 
Just my opinion but why not use a hair dryer to heat up the glue an then wet the cloth and clean where the glue was and then let it dry and put your new spot on thats just a off the wall suggestion .
