https://matchroom.live/ is streaming snooker again. Still no audience. The current event is the Championship League, matches race to 3. Two tables streamed, one with commentary.

They have a special speed-up rule: the seated player is allowed to concede. Normally, you can only concede on your turn and only when it is not possible to win without fouls by your opponent.

Ronnie O'Sullivan is up against John Higgins in an hour and a half on matchroom.live. This is the quarter final of the Masters. Race to 6. (11AM Pacific, 2PM Eastern)
 
He lost to higgins last night but what a great match, Ronnie didn't play bad as a matter of fact he played really good in all departments except his safety was failing him a bit.

The stats were, long pots ronnie ahead, pot success ronnie ahead, all departments ronnie was above 97% or 100% - ahead on everything, except the safety ronnie had a success of 48% vs john higgins safety was on the 87% range or something.

With that John won the match 6 to 3.
 
Apparentely in snooker long pot success doesn't matter as much as playing great safety, normally Ronnie plays the best safeties but in this match maybe he wasn't feeling it.
 
Ronnie just brings out the best in everybody. Higgins is a champion for sure, but I'm not so sure he would have played like this against a lesser player. If anyone had an error in a frame, they were punished for it.

As close as I can tell from the schedule, Ronnie will be playing at noon Eastern and 9AM Pacific against Michael Georgiou. I'm guessing it will be on the commentary table.
 
Razor sharp is commentary on Ronnie. What a treat. The lesson from Ronnie.

The clips posted to YouTube are just not the same.
 
I remember when Ronnie said he tried to copy Steve Davis, right down to his shoes....... Gotta like Brecel's shoes. ;)
