Matchroom WNT 2025 - Problems and progress

All your points taken on board - as mentioned before we are always looking to improve the site and a lot of these points we will look to address in the future.
Thanks for being attentive to customers.
With regards to WNT events as a viewer based in the US, we clip all televised matches from table one (immediately) and place on the site to be watched at your pleasure. We just don't upload it as one continuous stream once the live has ended.
Ideally this should work fine. The problem is, it has taken up to several hours or more for the clipped matches to be available for viewing.

If I get home from work at 6 pm EST, for example, and a WNT-produced match just ended, the clipped match might not be available until 8, 9 or 10 pm EST. So I can't watch it right away, or I might be getting ready for bed just when the clip is uploaded.

Nor is there a guarantee that all the clips of the day will be uploaded at similar times. I may not be able to see the match I want to see.

There's got to be a way to automate the process.

In this day and age, the goal has to be anywhere, anytime viewing. Meaning the clip is uploaded within minutes of the end of a match.

When WNT events were on DAZN and especially Youtube, I could watch matches whenever I wanted. For now WNT.TV has been a step back in that regard.

With partner events it's not as simple as we allow the local promoter to retain the rights outside of the live stream itself. The site was never built with the intent of housing these streams/content so when we are allowed to have it, we see it as a nice additional for subscribers.
I get it. Still would be great if the streams could be available for a very limited time. Even just 12 hours.

These events are a nice addition, no doubt. But most have been broadcast when it was either very early or very late in the states.

Regarding casting when I raised with our tech team they recommend users make use of Chromecast. This has now been rolled out so users who are on the same network as their Chromecast device will see that as an option to get the streams onto a TV.

Hope this helps.
All improvements welcome! I do have one Chromecast device and I will check it out.

Normally I use an iPad or iPhone to cast to my TV. A bit spotty. Sometimes it connects easily and is stable. Other times it cuts out, especially if I use my device for anything else. An APP is the ultimate solution, but we've discussed that before. No need to rehash.

Again, thanks for responding.

Jake, it seemed odd when MR chose to support Jr. Players first, and not the game itself with a semi pro USA tour.

why is it necessarily on them to run a semi pro tour?

there are plenty of WNT satellite events in the US, with plenty of semi pros playing. and those that don't wanna mix up with guys like sky and shane, they're not ready to go pro anyway, imo.
