Hello I have a Schon R-11 I am the only one that has owned this cue I bought it brand new back in the early 80's played with it a year or two then put it up in the closet until about 3 or 4 months ago while I gave up pool to raise my son. It is one of about 16 cues models that came out in one of Schons very first catalogs to hit the market I believe they were numbered R-1 through R-16. These were made in the Bob Runde era... As I said the Cue is used but in very good condition I currently have no way here to post pics of the cue but I have messaged my good friend Hawk4863 in hopes of getting with him and having him post pics of the cue on this thread tomorrow or a.s.a.p. He just replied and I will be stopping by tomorrow so he can take and post pics of the cue...

I was told by a fellow AZ'er (Hersheybarbilli) that the R-11 had fewer units made and are harder to find then the R-12 or some of the other cues in that catalog. I have fallen in love with this forum and have been reading everything on site . I have often told myself that I would not get rid of this cue but I have had a change of mind and want to offer it out to see what I can get in trade for it . I have a custom cue coming from Patricks Cues and I have a few others around here I can use ... You can find pics of a R-11 on this thread mine has the windows and veneers trimmed out in red ...

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=88618

It has two shafts with it ... I have really only used one of them I just chalked the other one up less then a month ago and did a few test hits with it but it has never really been used in play... The cue does have some battle scars on it but is in very good shape nothing major it is a good looking cue ... The Butt and both shafts roll straight as a arrow ... Anyway looking to see what kind of offers I can get in trade

Here is another link a AZ poster sent me to the R-11 Schon that I have ... This cue is the exact same one I have color scheme and all. Mine has two shafts to it ... I will be gone over to Hawk 4865 today to get pics taken of mine ...

The shafts have Molavia medium tips on them...
The cue wieghs in the 19 to 20 oz wieght area ...
The shafts still have the original ferrells on them I was told they do not make this type ferrell anymore and they are hard to find on the market and the price on them has risen over the years...

Thank you

Thanks so far for all the PM's

So far I have seen some pretty good offers come through ... Some nice cues have been offered in the 1200 to 1400 range ... people have been wanting to buy it too and have made some nice offers cash wise... I have several PM's I have to answer but will get to it tonight... I don't want to do anything till I get pics posted of the cue . And I'm on my way over to Hawk4865 house now to do just that .... And I have a tournament after that and then will come home and get to the PM's that I have not answered yet that many of you have been kind enough to send me... Not trying to be rude just very busy 2day and promise to get back to all of you tonight please be patient with me... I know I will kick myself in the butt after I deal the cue but I'm very excited about what I have coming in and what I have here now so much so that I'm willing to part with it just so Ill use some of the other cues I have.

I'm looking for a nice Custom to replace or a good cue from someone like Joss or a good maker in the production line ... Would be willing to take cash but that is not my top priority ... Would be willing to do half and half ... Ill also be in market for a used pool table or a good deal on a table in about a month as I am in the middle of remodeling my house and want to setup a table in what use to be my dinning room and I want to turn it into a billiards room and combine the kitchen and dinning area together... That way if I wake up in the middle of the night and want to hit some balls I have a table there. Also my son has seen me play and loves the game and dearly wants to learn it ... I don't want him learnin it yet the way I did by hanging out in the roughest bars and dark corners of drinking establishments at the age of 15/16 years old ... I'll want to teach him here at home then let him hit the bars when he is 21 and or where ever he can find a game...
So I'll be looking for a table in a month when the house is completed this has nothing to do with the Schon I'm just putting out feelers for any of you AZ'ers that can help me out here and recommend something in the lines of a table nothing fancy just something solid I can practice on anytime I want ... Would prefer a 8 or 9 footer but a bar box would do ... Nothing cheap like Walmart or someone would sell ...lol... Some one asked in a PM where I live .... I live in the Ben Hill/Fitzgerald - Irwin Area of South East Georgia ... This will also help anyone that may be able to help me get a good deal on a table... So keep me in mind if you run across something in my area I will be buying in about a month upon completion of my house being remodeled any help y'all can offer will be appreciated ....

I promise to get to any PM's tonight ...

Thanks so much to all of you that have replied so far...
