Mc Worter vs Nitti

Dear Friends,

I am going to buy a new cue. I have 2 favourite cuemakers... Chris Nitti and Mc Worter.

I want to spend between 2000-3000 $

Can yo please give me your opinions of both cuemakers?....

mcworter/nitti

well my friend they are at two sides of the spectrum! but they are both outstanding cuemakers!with flawless execution and exceptional playability!one is traditional(nitti) and one is contempory (mcworter) I would sugest you bank your money until you find one that hits your sweet spot and then jump!but make shur you get what you want and dont settle for what is available unless you love it then you are all set! www.cornerstonecustomcues.com thanks Bill
 
I agree with Bill @ Cornerstone, the two are about as far apart from each other as you can get in terms of style (ie. traditional vs. contemporary)

Since I have no personal experience with a McWorter, I can only give my opinions on Nitti cues as I have two right now including a SP that I used as my daily player for over 3 years. Chris is a great guy to deal with and makes a hell of a stick.

I'm sure you can't go wrong with either guy, but you need to decide whether you are looking for "old school" or "modern" designs.
 
Personally i like the design of McWorter, i have never played with one. I have played with a Nitti once, and its a lovely cue. :)

I agree that it's basically traditional v. contemporary, but it's also price: All other things being equal, a McWorter will run significantly more than a Nitti. I have two of Chris' cues and love them both, but McWorter obviously makes a great cue.

They are your two favorites and each are completely different. Why are they your two favorites? Have you played with either cue?

For all it's worth.
McW- More New School. CNC points and inlays, superbly executed. Cored forearms.
Nitti- Old school. True V-spliced, hand operated pantograph inlays. Not cored.
 
Dear Friends!!!

Nitti and McWorter are my favorite cuemakers//designers...

I played with a plain Mc Worter and I liked it so much. I never played with a Nitti.

I must tell you , that after looking for a long time in the internet, I like the designs of both cuemakers.
