McCready, Ronnie Allen, Harry Platis Partners One Pocket

OK, one more...

I have some tapes of McCready, Ronnie Allen, and Harry Platis playing a partners one pocket game.

Anyone know the details of this? WHERE and WHEN was it held and what was the bet?

Thanks

Put this up on Keith's board. He will certainly reply, but, as to whether he knows...

An anyway, who takes it off?

Well, I got the CD version of this match. It was not professionally recorded, but it was a 5-ahead set. In between games, you can see Jimmy Mataya barking at Harry Platis hoping to get a little side action. Ronnie Allen makes some incredible one-handed shots. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the players themselves look as if they are having a good time. :)

Here's a snapshot I took at the 2004 Derby City Classic in Louisville of a friend of Harry Platis', Keith McCready, Harry Platis, Jimmy Mataya's brother John, Ronnie Allen, and Jimmy Reid. What a motley crew! :p

I wish I could, but it was a complimentary copy, given to me by a seller on eBay named TenFtTall. However, I'd be happy to e-mail you a copy of the picture above! That one is mine! :D :p

I wish you could hear the players talking a bit more. The mic is too far away to hear them for the most part. My favorite part of watching Keith is his color commentary :)
