McDaniel or Scruggs?

Scruggs....

I haven't hit with a McDaniel before..but I love my Scruggs SP.
Also have heard lots of great things from other scruggs owners.

I have owned several of both and I would say it depends on what type of joint you are wanting and your price range. I think the McDaniel cues play more consistently throughout the range and I think the higher end Scruggs cues are nicer than the lower end one's. This is just based on my experience owning about six Scruggs and about five McDaniel's cues. I also think the flat faced Scruggs cues do not play as consistently as the piloted jointed ones. Just my 2 cents on the topic. Both are great cues.

cue

I played with a Mcdaniel before and thought it was great. But the Scruggs, just has that nice hit to it. I would recommend the Scruggs.

Who made the blanks for Tim Scruggs?

Someone go do the research and this will be an easy question to answer.....

If you're trying to say McDaniel makes blanks for Scruggs...that is not the case. Bill was involved with Tim at one time, but he isn't even making cues any longer.

Saying he was involved at one time is kind of misleading.....
