I bought this cue new in 1985 when the catalog for the D models had just came out.
I ordered it through the owner of the pool hall where I grew up playing and working.
I bought it to flip, but it played so good that I made it my main player and sold my shooter that Richard Black made for me.
This cue is one of the best playing cues I have ever played with and I have turned down MULTIPLE cash-in-hand offers from people willing to pay over ten times what I paid for it.
I think the C and D lines were the best cues McDermott ever produced.
