These are not Super Aramith Pro Cup balls. These are excellent quality cue balls made by another MFG overseas.

super aramtih?

If these are the same ones used on TV---and not a replica then I am in for one as well.

I bought one off of a guy on here, and I'm beginning to think it was a knock-off. I took it to the poolroom and it is not the same color of some other measle balls. The one I bought has somewhat of a yellow tint to it, and it gets filthy dirty with chalk really fast. Also, some of the chalk marks almost appear to be staining the ball.

If these are the real Aramith balls I will take one, just to compare and see if i was screwed by somebody on here.

How much do they weigh in grams?

If they don't weigh the same as the regular Aramith there will be a problem when playing.

Still it is a good price for an "extra" ball.

As I see, Troy has NOT EDITED his origional post and he stated that these ARE NOT Aramith Cue Balls.

I purchased 20 of these(prolly from the same source Troy is getting them) thinking they were the REAL DEAL(MEASLES ARAMITH CUE BALL). They are not. They are made from a different composite and even though they are VERYVERY close in weight and size(within a gram and a millimeter), they play differently(they play a little heavier) if that makes any sense.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from buying from Troy as these are still great cue balls to use as a training ball to see the spin/english applied to the ball and definately worth $15. But I don't want to see Troy getting any bad rep for people thinking they are getting something they aren't especially when he posted in his thread that they are not Aramith Cue Balls.

I do not know in grams. But they weigh 5.7 oz..

Thanks. My Measle ball weights 5.9 oz which is the same as the Super Pros. My blue circle, and Blue Aramith logo ball that came with the set both weigh 5.7

Close enough for using away from home.

Send me 2. Please send me a PM for payment details and etc.

Thanks
Ed

A couple days ago Troy added just below the picture that these are not the Aramith balls.

I bought mine with the intention that these were Aramith Measle balls. He never stated that these were not Aramith Balls, but I never asked either. I would have never bought these if these were not Aramith Balls.

I was very tempted to jump on this offer and buy a couple as well. However, I was lucky enough to come across this thread after several people posted questions asking if they were Aramith or not, so I'm happy I held off. I thought the price seemed to good to be true and I don't know why it wasn't posted at the beginning and after all the inquiries with no reply I figured they were probably not Aramith.

I see you were one of the first few to post a reply to the offer and it probably wasn't easy to wait around and miss out, may want to ask for a refund.
