Hmmmmm...
With all this talk of balance, has anybody given any though to the players with their grip hand on the buttsleeve?
Would balance really matter there?
Basically the entire cue is in front of their grip, so would the balance make a difference?

I think it depends what fingers they use.
I kid you not but this dude came in the shop one time. He said he wanted a cue a 19.25 oz. and he wanted this wood here and there and wanted the balance point at 18.75" with no bolts or any balancing method done to the cue.

From what I've seen, many times individuals that are "important" (hack...cough...choke ...fart), ask questions as sort of a test to see what kind of responses they'll get back just so they can get a good laugh, and then hide the answer for themselves, allowing more myths and controversy to settle in. But then the question that I have to ask myself is...."is Big Jon REALLY that smart and important". Shall we all answer in unison..............?
