Which would you prefer when competing in a pool tourney/season? I know you want the cash but for decorating the pool room, what would you want?

Our 30 week tournament season ends this weekend and I bought medals for the season (statistical) winners and small trophies for the tournament (this weekend) winners. We have a large trophy for the annual tourney winner to add his name to and he gets bragging rights for a year.

Thanks,

BK

i like a nice plaque as the trophies i have always earned are small and exactly the same as the others i already have.

Thats true, plaques do seem a little bit more personal than just a trophy with your name on it.

If I could find a place to modify the poll I would add Plaques!

This is my first poll and I knew I would miss something!

The plaques that look like bronze plates are pretty cool too. Many leagues give out the same trophy year after year with very minimal changes to them. Personalizing them is a nice touch.

Also attributed to Minnesota Fats, or words to that effect.

I voted for trophies but then thought about how much space they take up, etc. When I left England I gave all but one of my pool & snooker trophies to a local youth club that had a pool table. At least they could make use of them!

I have so damned many trophies and plaques I could care less if I ever get another. My favorite award for league play is a stone carving mounted on a wood base. I thought it was cool then and I still think so.
