Meet My Coaches

My video camera shows me everything I do wrong.
It's up to me to correct it.

My voice recorder records all my thoughts and ideas about my game in real time.
So as I don't forget anything important.

I don't need a real live person to show and tell me these things.
There are plenty of books and instructional videos available.
And I can see exactly how it's done watching YouTube videos of the greatest players of all time.
Not to mention the great commentators from Accu-Stats.

Of course, there are many techniques and nuances that can make or break your game.
If a coach knows of them, perhaps they will share that knowledge.

But this is really good for now and just fine for me.
In about another week I'll post another mini-demo and we can all see my progress.

Until then...

I use video all the time to make sure that I am continuing to stay on the right path and to also see what I am still lacking in proper mechanics, timing, etc. As someone mentioned, you also need to know what to look for in your approach to a shot and your resulting stroke. - yes, some books and the internet are very helpful along those lines; but, no doubt, the very best pool stroke trainers would be a valuable asset in conjunction with your video reviews.

No offense meant, but you need live instruction to improve faster. I have pros and teachers comment on my game, and I do the same for theirs. Tiger Woods has a coach(es), and I’ve put pool pros into testing systems and stroke machines.

Are there any instructors that you would recommend who would coach based on video recordings?

As I reviewed a recorded session ...I saw myself rushing the stroke. Was not holding the backswing. Managing the table was different story. I recored various lessons I took and a few games. Damn I need help😂

Well thanks for the reminder, I have a DVD around here somewhere from a 1st place finish. 🤔 Yeah that figures to be my best form. So see if and where I have changed might be interesting as it's over 10 years old. 🤔
