wheres the best place to by melamine rod or tube for making ferrules

Sheldon is certainly right, I purchased 6 feet of the stuff and have never been happier with any other material.

i still have plenty of the micarta in rod or tube.as far as the micarta is concerned the tube and rod are both perfect for ferrules,they are both equally non-porous,stay clean and very strong.
if you need white,i am out of the LBM rod right now,i do have tube LBM,but honestly i wouldn't recommend tube LBM for ferrules,it isn't as dense as the rod.i would be glad to sell you some of the tube at $10 per foot,but it takes work to keep it clean.
not sure why in LBM the tube isn't as good as the rod like it is in micarta,but it isn't.
