I'd be happy to try you some. I'm nobody to be afraid of, heck I can just barely hit the back rail... we can play at The Cue or over at Player's on aurora. Player's just re-felted and the tables are playing great. How much you looking to play for? One man's cheap may be another's life savings... some races for $20 sound about right?

So who are you by the way? I've been at the cue more than a few times in the last week and haven't seen any ladies around that are players. Wait, Jimmy's wife is always there but you're definitely not her. I know I haven't been around for a few months but Rich and gang didn't mention anything about a new female gambler in town...

When do you wanna play some? Tonite?
 
hey guys roadtrip to gainesville, lets play some! My friend is in melbourne, he goes to FIT, maybe one day when i visit ill look you up skipp.. but in the meantime come across the state to gainesville! UF campus is huge, 50,000+ students in which over half are female (do the math????)

Partied with tons of players like The Polish Prince Jon Dovinsky & the Mighty Glove Gene Catron. Truely a part of my life I would rather die for than release. Me and JG-in-KY put some mile on a few cars in them days!!!

Hey... Could be a possibility in the near future. ARM and I are getting antsy around here and might take a little trip. Whos your friend at FIT? My girlfriend goes there and I hang out with quite a few of the students. PM me for my number and I'll meet up with him for a few beers or something.

His name is Sam Golden, he runs cross country for FIT, used to play a little pool before he became running obsessed Ill pm you my number in case you come to gainesville.

Well I know Scotty can put it away & still play pretty sporty but Jon actually played at a world class level between the 15th & the 30th brewski!! Somewhere between the 31th & 35th Heinekin is where is skill level greatly diminished...like I have said many times, all in good fun.

Yeah races to 7 for $20 sounds good, can't make it tonite. How bout Monday 6:00 p.m. at the golden cue. Will be out of town till then.

Monday is a maybe. Tuesday for sure. Talked to your son last night so you're no longer a mystery lady. How was your aunts trip? Weather in Atlanta was supposed to be pretty bad yesterday.

Sorry I was so mysterious, I was having fun reading people's posts about the Golden Cue and since I didn't know you or voodoodaddy it seemed like the natural thing to do. That's o k if you can't make it monday, I'll pop up and see anyway--I'll have returned from Palm Harbor and might be hatin pool by then if I do badly...Tuesday and Wednesday I work so I'm too tired. Thursday I'm playing someone I met on rsb. So if not this week next week.

Sounds good... neither one of us is going anywhere any time soon so whenever its convenient. Spent most of the nite up there today. Plan on changing my "Home" room from Player's to The Cue so I will be around much more often.
 
i got a car and im coming across the state soon~! PErhaps as early as this weekend... the 26th??

I did go to the Golden Cue and I did leave with the $.
It was not a dream and I did not mention AZB or give any indication that I might have conversed on AZB with folks that were there. I did many pee-pees in the bathrooms. thhey share a back wall and are in the back corners of the center and right rooms. I played on quite a few tables, including the 'tight' one in the front of the far right room. Which, incedentally, is not tight!
I very much liked the room and would become a regular there, if I lived there.
Tha money was green and I do not remember who the people who contributed to my vacation fund were. Thank you all, all the same.
 
Ok, you've been to the cue then, you definitely didn't match up with anyone worth playing though. If you had I would of heard about it and my money would have been in on it. I contend that you are full of it. There isn't anyone in that poolroom that you could make more than 5 dollars off of that would play someone they don't know without my knowing about it. In fact, there's nowhere in Melbourne that you could go and play for more than peanuts that I wouldn't hear about.

I call BULLSHIT. If you'd like to come down and play some people that are worth a damn for some cash let me know, otherwise quit bullshitting about coming to a town and leaving w/ the cash when you only played bangers for lunch money.

I went to the room one night, had a look around, played on my terms and didn't turn anyone down. Not my fault if none of the tuffies were there...

And on that note, my people can beat up yours!
