Melissa Herndon Upset

The Worldpool event is run by Matchroom. They have Luke Riches who is in charge of getting news out to the media. He does an outstanding job.

As for the Florida State Championship, I was planning on doing brackets for it but instead ended up spending time with the family. I know next weekend is going to be very busy, so I was relaxing a bit this weekend.

Next weekend, we have Diana going to the tourney at Breakers and I will be trying to get some pics from the AWBT event. I will also be taking my kids to a Halloween carnival and finishing up getting my newspaper ready to go to print out here.

Yes, this was reported on the AZ front page and via my tally of the points. All Karen needed to secure the #1 ranking was a second place finish. She has done this by defeating Melissa. Given a second place finish, Karen will lead Allison by 30 points. Given a first place finish she will trail by 70. Given my ROUGH configuration of the points, the rankings have changed considerably. If I'm right about the way I did it, we have at least one, possibly two new seeded players. Yee Ha! :D

WPBA.com, which has rallied in the last couple of hours with timely coverage of the TV round matches, is now reporting that Ga Young Kim has won the tournament.

Two new faces in a row in the winner's circle in the last two tournaments. Has to serve our sport well.
 
Does anyone know when any of the TV matches will be aired yet??? For perhaps the Candian Classic, or this one?? I have no way to know ahead of time, but through here, since the WPBA site hasn't updated any viewings...and I agree, they've done horrible the past 2 tourney's..they aren't even giving us Highlight photos. NOTHING!

Deanna, the most current TV listings are up on the Billiards Digest website right now. I will have next month's listing up here in the next day or so.

You could always subscribe to the TV minder service that we provide and get an email reminder before pool came on tv.

Why is Melissa upset? Is it because she is the 2nd best loser? That was a great toourney for her!! I wish I could do so well in a big'un!!!
