Hey so I'm looking for suggestions on a cuemaker to make me a merry widow that I can get for under $600. I'm looking for something with a quite a bit of feel and has a solid hit.
If anyone is able to help me out let me know. Thanks
Merry Widow is just a basic cue with no points. Most of the time it is the same wood used in the front and rear. So you have forearm, handle and rear. No points or inlays.
Generally the term is used for a cue with no points so I guess the splice type would be n/a? To OP, RAT should be in your price range though I bet there are a bunch of cue makers that could oblige for a 1 shaft merry widow if you asked nicely. Pierce and Barnhart would have years ago but probably not today. Jim Baxter maybe?

Think I could get like an Ernie Martinez or Josey at that price?
