I was talking with Charlie a couple of days ago and told him I would post a message from him for everyone:

He appreciates all the support everyone gives him and doesn't want anyone to think that he's ignoring them or fluffing them off by not answering questions on his thread.

He's been pretty busy running around to tournaments and doesn't have a laptop yet.

He also mentioned he was a little worried that people might take some things he says the wrong way cause of the way he might say them being a southern boy and all. It takes him a while to type cause he doesn't do it much and it might not look right.

I told him just sit for like 15 minutes in the morning while he's having coffee and it'll eventually become a habit, even if he answers just a couple each time he'll get better and better the more he does it.

He's really a hell of a guy and really wants to post on here so maybe if he got a little encouragement from some of you that spelling errors or how he says things won't bring out the grammar police or a lynch mob. He'll add alot of flavor and color on here for sure.

Thanks

I got a chance to chat with Charlie, too, here in Toledo. He really likes the AzBilliards Discussion Forum and is looking forward to posting. He has a lot to offer and has come up with some strategies that he is willing to share.

He had the misfortune of getting a virus on his home computer which went down about the same time as he came to the Ask the Pro column, sadly. As soon as he gets "hooked up" again via a new computer, he will be posting.

By the looks of it here at the Glass City Open, he may have a shot at first place, which will sure be great for Charlie and his pocket book. If you've ever met him in person, he's a hoot to listen to.

Go get 'em, Charlie!

Go for it, Charlie. You're not just a great player, but you're a colorful and entertaining guy. If you don't write like Shakespeare or Dickens, join the crowd. Do the best you can, and we'll understand.
