Looking at a 97-9 meucci from a local player, cue retails around 500 and he's selling for 150, any advice or input on this cue? Is it worth the 150? Hearing a lot of negative about meucci doing research

Meucci cues are not made well. But I have heard that they screw up once in awhile and a good one gets out.
You have the opportunity to see and play with the cue so you have a chance of getting a good one.
If it's straight and all the parts are tight and it makes no funny sounds or vibrations when you play with it why not. Only $150. I would consider it if I were you.

Appreciate the input, that seems to be the general consensus online everywhere I read! Told him I'll give him $100 but not a penny more, so well see, currently shoot with a joss I'm not sure the model but I LOVE my joss, it's an amazing stick I have NO complaints about!

His price seems fine I think, if the cue is in good shape.....

But going from a JOSS to the Meucci? Hey, try it...it might just make you appreciate your JOSS more....

.

Lol chop doc that's exactly what I needed to hear!! I do love my joss!! Wish I knew the model of it, think its older, paid $500 for it used, it has mother of pearl inlays around the butt, not sure how to fig the exact model out though :/

It's kind of like saying pneumonia will make you feel like a cold is not so bad to have.

No serial number anywhere to be found, how would I go about finding the serial? Checked the joint thoroughly and couldn't find anything

Speaking of, I got a snooker cue that has no marks on it. Is that normal? I was thinking its custom because its plays very balanced. Anyways I just sent you a pm chop doc but I was hoping others seeing this could give me some direction as well

cant post the pics cuz i just signed up with azbilliards. they are in the my photo album.

Looks like the Brunswick Diamond Series #3 cue made around 1999. Retail price was $263 brand new.

If you paid $500, I would call the police because you got robbed.

No serial number on this Brunswick.
