Meucci cues Refinishing

Any opinions or advise? I will be selling my Meucci DH2. I'm considering sending my cue in original, good but used condition because of small superficial chips in the finish and inlays that can be felt as raised to Meucci for refinishing. What do you think? Sell as-is or refinish? Some where other than Meucci? I would appreciate input from people with previous experiences with Meucci's refinishing work. Thanks, Keith

I recommend proficient billiards instead.

Better price, better finish and faster return time.

I recommend proficient billiards. But for gods sake send it to anyone other then Meucci.... Horrible customer service and the turnaround time was rediculous. I was quoted a month turnaround time on a refinish and it took over a year.

Thanks for all the input.

I want to thank all who responded. I am going to try selling the cue as-is and let the new owner decide what to do with it. If it doesn't sell soon, I will possibly keep the cue and then refinish it. It hits great with the original shaft and also with an 11.5 mm Predator Z2. Would rather keep the cue cause it looks great too.

P.S. I won't send to Meucci mainly because they state on their site a Minimum of 6 weeks, just a tad long at a minimum.

Thanks again.

Not Meucci the last cue I sent them a cue it took 2-1/2 years to get it back. They could have made me a complete new one in half the time.
