As for the marketing strategy it is brilliant. Everything old is new again. Doesn't matter what taper you put on sh!tty shaft though it is still a sh!tty shaft.
That will only work for one year at best though. Word gets around that it is still a sh!tty shaft and it will hurt them in the next year. Best thing they could do is to rework their image by going all out in QC. It's much harder to knock down the good word than to knock up the bad word.
