This afternoon, the two missing Meucci cues that were posted earlier this month were found as they were being sold on ebay. Well, they made their final destination into my hands.

I want to put a special thanks to AZ Member KTMRIDER765 for spotting them and bring them to the attention of the seller, AZ Member THOMAS MCKANE as Thomas has gone above and beyond of what most sellers would do.
Both Thomas and myself stayed with this information on both ends of UPS and I want to give special thanks to my local ups hub supervisor Mike Blaskowski as he answered every call I made to him including weekends when he was off duty.
I also want to express sincere gratitude to the person who came into possession of the cues via a sale being held by Largo Cargo. His receipt of purchasing the two cues made it very clear that he was not part of the situation as he simply won them on a bid.
That person. who had the cues in his possession goes by the ebay name of hoponn After submitting proof of my purchase and photo's I took of the tube's original shipping label, he did speak with my ups supervisor and upon receiving instructions, he took the cues back and got his refund. At that time, a ups security team took possession of the cues and forwarded them on to me. I want to Thank ebay member hoponn for his honorable actions.
Of course, mostly, I want to Thank Thomas Mckane as from the git go, he did not waver in his opinion towards me as we both stuck like glue and didn't sit on our butts when we got the lead. I am sure we both have plenty of hours into finding the cues and it was nice to see the cues find their way.
I Thank the AZ Billiard Community and the replies I received from members who were watching their respective area's.

Thanks All.

Good to hear! Was wondering what became of this situation. Glad everything worked out, sounds like an honest seller

Sorry Thomas, I was under the impression Rider came across them as I know he was looking in his area for us. I stand corrected. LOL, Good Job Thomas !!!

I learned a great deal from this ordeal, and believe me, it was an ordeal. Don't use UPS for cues, EVER.

1. Use USPS priority, the triangle shipping boxes are free, just ask.
2. Insure for $201 or more, that gets you free signature required automatically which saves you $.
3. Communicate everything, and often, you never know what can happen and it's better to keep everything honest and open every step of the way.
4. Take lots of photos in case you have to "prove" anything after the fact.
5. Talk to other AZ'ers, there are some awesome people on this great site and they share knowledge openly.

Glad it's over finally!

So did you ever get to the bottom of who stole them to begin with?

Getting them back doesn't resolve that question.

JC,
We are lucky that the three people involved handled it properly. The issue is going to be between ups and Largo Cargo as how the cues ended up at Largo Cargo. I am sure we will never know. The rumor was that the cues fell out of the tube.........lol........, but, who can prove it ?? There is no future for me in pursuing this myself and I think Thomas has the same thoughts. I doubt if ups finds out what really happened, they will handle it with their internal affairs.
