I have a Jim Rempe and ST-5 that are priced at $950 and over on Internet now. Boy, with the housing recovery, cue prices are going up too.

Only if they sell for that price. Sellers can ask for as much as they want. Are they really selling for that??

"the internet" is a large place, is this from Meucci directly, ebay or here? Craigslist? Many rare cues ARE going up in price, especially since they came out, it's the run of the mill common and China production cues that sell for 1/2 or less their original value.

Some of the Meucci originals on Ebay are new models that they have brought back out. I can't imagine they hit anywhere as good as the "real" old ones.

Yeah...prices going up and no one is buying. Too many window shoppers and low-ball offers.

You see lots of high prices on ebay only because it is free to list now. It's just advertising and showing off what you got.

Um....you might be really very surprised by some of them actually......

By the price or by the quality? I know there are quite a few very well made cues out there for cheap, but do they keep 100% of their price after 10 years? Those Kaiser SW looking cues, I have played with one in person and have heard good things about it, play great, look nice, but I don't think they will sell for their original price.

Hm.. well maybe those may since some of them go through good/bad cycles. A "good" cheap cue year would hold their value.
