MEUCCI PRO Shaft

One bad thing about Meucci. They say two weeks it becomes months. Meucci man said my shaftt was done. I still havent recieved it. Ridiculous :(
 
I'm waiting on one, too. I think there's been a lot of interest in these new shafts. Really strong endorsements from Max Eberle, Loree Jon and Jason Shaw. They're just busy, I think.... Lree Jon's a big fan of Ultra-Skin tips, too.
 
I ordered mine the beginning of January. Called Friday no response on whats going on. Kind of agitated. Is what it is i call again on Monday.
 
I ordered a "The Pro" shaft in 30" length with an Ultra Skin tip from Budget Billiards on March 30th and it was delivered today. Can't complain about that. :)

Please let us know what you think of it after you have had a chance to try it out for a bit.

Good, glad someone recieved it! Im Jealous lol. Im still waiting!!!! Never seen a shaft take this long.
 
My buddy just upgraded from the black dot to the pro about 3 weeks ago. We picked it up at the sbe. I noticed he is shooting better with it, because he doesn't need to juice it up as much anymore. I hit some balls with it and I really enjoyed it too. Hits way different than any other shaft from Bob that I've tried. If I didn't enjoy my new predator stuff, I'd consider getting the pro shaft myself.

I just got another McDermott cue and it has an extra shaft that was made by Bob Meucci. From looking a their website, it seems to be the "pro" model that lists for $275. It is a bit longer than 29" and has a 1/2 inch ferrule and I think the diameter is about 12.5mm. The quality of the wood is superb and it has lots of curly maple rings up and down that glisten when the light changes. I think it may have a Triangle tip on it.

I must say that this shaft hits VERY, VERY, VERY well and is super responsive. I haven't tried to figure out its deflective qualities yet, but it hits WAY better than a Predator 314-2 as far as "FEEL" is concerned. This shaft hits SOLID and provides EXCELLENT feedback.

I haven't hit balls with a Meucci shaft in a LONG time, but this is NOTHING like the whippy stuff they used to put out years ago. I would RECOMMEND this shaft to anybody...assuming they all hit as well as the one I have.

I got burned on 3 meucci cues that fell apart within 6 months of buying them back in 07.

I got burned, ripped off what ever you want to call it.
If I ever meet Bob in person I will remind him of the POS cues he produced at one time..

Nope NEVER RECEIVED the Meucci PRO. The "dealer" i ordered from who was a "dealer" for Meucci actually wasnt a "dealer" at all. The guy gets a Meucci discount through Billiards Pro Shop. So i was waiting for Billiards Pro Shop to to recieve the shaft. I called them several times and they could not get a Meucci PRO shaft for the life of them. I ended up getting a Z2 shaft because they would not refund my money which i sold TODAY. LOST 60 dollars in the process. Not gonna cry over spilled milk just gonna make sure I dont make the same mistake twice. My fault not investigating the whole situation. My excitement got the best of me. I guess ill keep waiting. I should have just bought one at SBE when i went down. Thanks for asking HAWAIIANEYE!!!!

I am so sorry to hear this. You should have ordered it from Budget Billiards. http://www.budgetcues.com/ They have the best prices and their service can't be beat.

I love my Meucci Pro Shaft. I switch back and forth between that one and Seybert's S-tuned Z. The Pro shaft has a real nice wood on wood feel, is LD and spins the ball well. The S-tuned is higher performance IMHO and takes a little more care to control.

do you mind sharing who this "supposed " dealer is .
 
Just chatted with Jayson Shaw while watching the Predator Pro/AM online and he said he was using a Kamui medium on the Meucci Pro shaft and it was too hard. He also said it was the best shaft he had used and it was 12.5 mm. He also mentioned that it hit "so straight" that he didn't have to make any adjustments.

I felt that he was doing better with his lucasi hybrid when he just came outta nowhere to the us n start killing everybody on the road.

Since he said that, he must really like his meucci then.

But just wondering if he's win any major tournament lately as i havent heard him won any since he switched to meucci ?
Watching him getting killed by Ignacio in usbtc was painful since he's my fav player, arguably the straightest shooter on this universe :)

He won the recent Turning Stone tournament .
 
I have a black dot and a red dot and 314 2 and a z shaft . I would love to try a meucci pro , im just not willing to pay for the price they want for it as of yet :rolleyes:
