Posting this on here for a friend . He was at the super billiards expo and didn’t pull the trigger on buying their carbon fiber shaft. About a week later when he got home he decided to buy it on their website. Shouldn’t take long right? They had plenty at the show. Wrong lol it’s been 4 months and still hasn’t gotten it. They don’t give a reason why but they did tell him when they finally ship it he will get a free glove and hat with it 😂. seems silly. you can’t tell me there is that much of a demand. are they having trouble getting the carbon fiber tubes? They won’t even take his calls or answer his emails anymore. Lol I guess they are tired of him haha

Before anyone says buy a bull carbon or whatever he’s a stone cold meucci fan his whole life so that won’t happen.

Edit to say it was 4 months not 6.

I ordered one single joint protector exactly 2 months ago today. Guess what? I strongly urge you not to order anything from Meucci as there is something seriously wrong going on at that place. (P.S. I love my Meucci cues and all this saddens me.)

I ordered joint protectors and a T-Shirt. Waited 3 months and asked for a refund. Previously I had Steve Kornele make me custom joint protectors for my PK Custom cue. He did not take that long. Maybe it was the T-shirt that threw them off.
The polyester harvest isn't until late September. Once that comes in, they still have to hand weave the fabric. I'd say they'll have the t-shirts ready around the first of the year. (I didn't say which year.)

All jokes aside, it really is sad to see what's happened to such a legendary brand over the years.

I purchased an extension that was in stock from the Meucci website on January 8, 2026 & it was in my hands January 13, 2026.

The cue it is used on hasn't completely fallen apart yet either. 🤣

Since the super billiards expo was just a little over 4 months ago, and he ordered it since then- someone is lying.
They do state on their site that there is a 10 week lead time.

Sorry got the date wrong. 4 months. Bad math in my head lol either way I can see your a fan boy making excuses. It’s a shaft they have sitting in stock . They had a ton of them at the expo. If you read the other replys here you see it’s not a one time incident. They have always been a trash company and always will be . The cues they sent out in the late 80s with inlays falling out.. warped.. glue running down them was disgusting and shows you who bob and his company really are. And don’t tell me that didn’t happen. I was in the pool hall when the owner got the shipments more then once and 3/4 of the cues had to be sent back because they were trash.

Brother, I don't know what kind of Meuccies you guys were getting back then. But the ones that me and all my buddies ordered through our pool room in the mid 90's came in absolutely fine and played great. Were they Gina or Szamboti level perfect? Of course not. But they were infinitely easier to get and exponentially less expensive.

Something doesn't sound right. Meucci does not screen their calls so I don't believe that they are not accepting his calls. Also, they do not keep any shafts in stock. They do build some ahead for trade shows but they are typically paired as complete Cues. I know that they have been having a hard time getting carbon fiber blanks. They source them in the USA. They are actively increasing their capacity so lead times should improve. Demand has increased over the past couple of years, so they are responding. I guess I am a "fan boy" but the first time I was in the plant I was impressed and bought my first Meucci.

Mine from the 90's is awesome as well. No issues whatsoever. I did recently send the original shaft to a member here to have it turned down to 12.5 and cleaned up a bit after 31 years.

They do not have them sitting in stock, which is why they state that there is up to a 10 week lead time since they are made to order.
I have heard from people that have purchased cue's from them recently that their quality issues have been taken care of.
My 95-11 is an awesome cue with no issues.
