Mezz Cue Extension

I have a Mezz EC7-K cue. It has a solid rubber Bumper. I was thinking about buying a Mezz Cue Extension. The cue extension is supposed to screw directly into "ANY" Mezz cue bumper. Does anyone know how it screws directly into a solid rubber bumper?

It doesn't unless your cue is already outfitted with the X Bumper.
If it doesn't have the X, the extension kit includes the bumper.

If your bumper has the hole and insert in it, you're good to go.
Just a matter of changing bumpers.

The Mezz Extension is no longer available in the US. Someone patented the design here. I believe a new design will be coming out in the near future. It's simply changing the bumper from your cue to the bumper that comes with the extension. The extension bumper is threaded to take the extension.
