My goodness these things shoot lights out. Very effortless and their shafts are incredible. The build quality is very good too.

To be honest I cannot go back to a custom.

How are their Exceed line?

I haven't gotten to try a Exceed. They look sharp thought. Even on Videos. I just bought my first Mezz and got the Ex Pro Shaft. I have to say. I'm loving it. Great playing cue.

I bought one with an Alpha hybrid shaft (lower but not low deflection) and I've really loved it. I might have a few custom cues for sale soon (but they all hit a ton!).

I have been playing with OB Shafts for years before switching to totally OB Cues a few years ago. I thought it would take a lot of time getting use to the new shaft on the Mezz. But after a hour of play. I was all set.

It's been awhile since I have been this pleased with a purchase. I was really scared to switch too. But I have to say, excellent product and I'm now a fan.

Their price point is pretty good too if you just want a shooter. The plain janes are affordable if you were to compare it to a custom.

Excellent, quality cues. Been playing exclusively with my Mezz for several years.

Yes out standing cue, playability is awesome for a MEZZ & EXCEED. I hate say it nobody in same league production or custom!

In my opinion Mezz makes the best non-custom cue out there.
No one comes close. Not even Schon.
Mezz cues actually play much better than many custom cues.
I love their PowerBreak II.
It's amazing. Crazy break cue.
Much prefer it over the BK Rush, which - to me - feels really strange.
Like trying to break with your seat belts on or something...lol

Hard to describe but it almost feels like I am cheating with it. Nothing against custom cues as most are beautiful but that's about it. The hit is better than any custom I have played with.

Do you want a custom sports car made in a garage or do you want a sports car made in Maranello with a prancing horse?

I was going to post just the opposite - based on one of my teammates who bought a "sneaky pete" mezz about a year before I bought my Olney. I got way more bang for the buck.
But I will say, his cue plays great

Some of those Exceed models are absolutely gorgeous - but their website doesn't have prices

Mezz makes quality products.

Of the shafts I've tried, I think their 700 model is the one I like most.

All you need to do now is purchase a Mezz Kai breaker, send it to Ryan Thween, have a J/B Joint put in and you'll be set. Brian.

I sold my Mezz to put the money toward a Scruggs. Sold the Scruggs, and I'm looking for another Mezz. I loved mine.

When I bought my Mezz. I also bought a BK Rush. I kind of regret not getting a Mezz break cue. They have so many different break cues and break shafts. Along with tips adds another variable. What do you prefer with your Mezz Powerbreak?

hmmm so you switch from OB to Mezz. What made you do the switch?

My Game was at a stand still. No matter how much I practiced or how many tournaments I played. So I got rid of my OB break cue first. Trying a few other break cues gave me the bug to try new stuff. I did some research and started checking on a few different brands. Even asked some different people at the pool hall where i play, if I could try their cues. I wanted to try a variety. I settled on Mezz but the only thing that had me worried was the shaft and tip combinations. They have so many.

Luckily the Ex Pro is a major change from my OB Pro. Both in width and feel. But it only took about a hour to get confident with it. I am thinking about entering a big tournament here next month just to give it a good workout. My Confidence is way up. I know it's mostly psychological. I do miss certain things about the OB. Just honestly surprised at how well the Mezz feels compared to the OB. The pop of the Cueball, The English it applies. Everything just feels good.

How about the deflection / squirt difference? More or less? Thanks

Believe it or not. Less. I am using a Ex Pro with a Zan Tip if that makes a difference. I think their shaft technology is up there. I'm not saying a Mezz Cue is a cure all. But it has helped me with spin and draw speed. Ultra Low Deflection and much needed precision on longer, harder spin shots.

I like to move the cue ball around only if I have to when I play. My Mezz let's me do it much easier than my OB Pro. I think the shaft width might have something to do with that too.

What's the United Joint? Is it interchangeable with others or just with theirs?
