mezz cues gaining popularity in the states???

Mika's success has nothing to do with the equipment he uses.
It would be the same result regardless of what cue he is using.
A cue does not make you play better.

Yes but all those newbies probably saw alot of commercials for cuetec also. There are at least 3 on every morning when espn shows womens pool. Mezz not so much. The people who know mika won back to back opens with a mezz are already poolplayers and not as likely to run out and buy a cue just caus he won a tourney with it.

And like no stroke said, Mika aint exactly the most likable guy in pool. I wont elaborate on my personal feeling on mika ill just say that id rather buy something allison or earl are sellling any day of the week.

think you could shoot me a pm with your opinion of him. you got my attention with that line

I had one. It was the ZZ-09 model and it was a fine player. Actually, I was a bit skeptical cause I had never heard of it before.

I played it, and it was unbelieveably solid. I honestly though it was too good to be true, so I gave it up...... to Buddy Hall of all people! was supposed to give me lessons to the full value of the cue and his hustlin a$$ never did make good on his end of the deal!

Buddy actually had never heard of the Mezz when I first got it. He though it was a cheap 'Miz' cue from Taiwan. He played it and he though it was actually too stiff. He turned right around and sold it for $100 less than what I paid for it. He did that in the pool hall until he wore out his welcome.

buddy hall!!!!! ha! sorry about your loss but that's kind of funny.

the cue does make a difference. you don't think it does and i'm sure i can find something that's harder for you to pocket balls with.

If you guys need any Mezz cues let me know.
I am getting some BKII's next week and I am switching my break cue to a BKII and have been thinking about getting a Mika model with HPII.
I had a chance to play a couple of racks with Mika's cue and I really liked it... a lot. The hit between a Predator and a Mezz is like night and day!

Hay Tony if you get mika's model you ought to let me borrow that south west you just got

I think that you are having nightmares.
Don't you think is time to go to bed?
You can watch Dora on Nick Jr again tomorrow morning :grin-square:

all right i'll settle for you letting me play a few racks with it some weekend.

you're not going to be disappointed with your new break cue! i had one and loved it. i sold it when i got my gilbert j/b though. the edge goes to the gilbert j/b only because i can play with it too

Don't ever trust that fat man as far as you can toss him..... he is a pain pill addicted hustler that goes around hustling cues and people in pool halls for a living. You would think he would use his reputation for something other than that. Ask anyone at Magoo's in Tulsa, Oklahoma if anyone doesn't believe me.

I'm not support anyone.

First, the mezz is not only production cues. there is more models, such as TA series which were limit edition. They r using predator technology to extend their designs, 4 piece combine and hole lo empty, put special rubber........etc.

Have u guys heard Musashi? Early days r custom cues, dont no now. Several famous cuemarkers give highly regardness on Musashi.

Try some JP product, u guys will understand...........

I agree a better cue does help the shooting, too many people after 314 cant pot ball as 314 time......dont u think?

Just thought

i don't understand the last sentence you typed. what's that all about?

i've heard of musashi cues. they were fairly popular when i was in japan about 5-6 years ago.

my poor english, sori, I mean some people use 314 before, after change to some other brand cues, it happens could not pot ball properly, It has dramaticaly differnece.

I done the survey, 50 figures, 95% cant pot ball like using 314.........lol
