Mezz pins

Does anyone know if you can purchase a tap for the Mezz wavy pin? I recently got one of their cues and really like that joint. However, the only joint protectors that are readily available are the common black plastic ones. A friend of mine locally makes cues and uses the 3/8x11 as a standard but could do 3/8x10 or either 5/16 if need be. In the past I have just pulled the pins out of cues and converted them to a 3/8x11 but I hate to do that with the Mezz cue. I would also be inclined to buy some pins as well, if possible. I have a nice old Dufferin butt that I thought about fitting one of my Mezz shafts to.

I have sent Mezz multiple emails with no response.

No, they aren't cheap that's for sure.

But the taps are well made and work very well. I have one.
