Mezz vs Schon

Schon with a predator shaft. Its the triple nuts. Think Johnny archer used one for years.
And Van boening too.

No predator for Shane. For a while it was a Schon R series butt with the shaft from his Joss "Shane" cue. He later switched to a Schon shaft before going to Cuetec. He fooled with different stuff on and off but the above set up was what he played most things with.

No Predator shaft with Archer, either. Alex does/did use a Schon with a Predator shaft before the switch to the Mezz. SVB and Archer have never used a Predator shaft with the Schon butt, however.

Deflection or low deflection is the question

If you want low deflection go with Mezz. If you want standard deflection go with Schon. I have owned both and they are excellent cues that can easily last you a lifetime.

So the real question is do you want to go the way of technology or not?

I have tried a million times to swtich to low deflection as I think it makes sense to use the technology available, and no matter what I try I always end up with my trusty TS in my hand.

That's just dumb. How can you honestly say that one of the highest quality cues in the world sucks?
