Michael did come through for me on my two cues. They were way overdue but he did the nicest restoration of a Model M I've ever seen. He considerably undercharged me for the repairs and overnighted the cues. Just got them in today. He maybe charged half of what he should have.

Michael is working on turning around his overdue work. He is a very talented guy who does an amazing job. I wish him best of luck in getting 100% caught up. He is communicating by phone and email again.

Great I hope he pulls through and things work out well for him....Love my cue but not in service due to MY fking up the shaft....

Maybe I'll get a call saying he has finished it truly and would like to ship it if I still want it.

Of coarse the answer would be SURE.
 
just wanted to add that mike also made sue and I a beautiful cue also. the veneers are just unbelievable. sharp and bright. tha ambonia burl and points also beautiful. hits great,havent picked other cues since we got this one. we thank mike, he is a great cuemaker and a gentleman. jim and sue

LOL - you guys are RUTHLESS. The cue was warped in the handle area. I sent it to Michael for a new handle, wrap and refinish. In taking it apart, basically the integrated rings shattered. It is not easy replacing the "A" joint in this cue! Michael did extensive surgery replacing most of the non wood parts with original factory plastics or his own shop made metal parts. The restoration is so good, I would have assumed the cue was 100% original just looking at it. The finish work is truly amazing. Here are some pics. He has the original factory plastic pearlized buttcap material - so it looks 100% original.

The cue is now magnificent. This is the best restored "M" I've ever seen.

Mike put a wrap on my '86 Joss...I wanted something other than linen
or leather for a change.....it was a corker. :cool:

Great cue, and I'm hoping that Mr. Webb can bounce back. He has always done impeccable cue work!

Mike is the greatest! His ability is second to none! I've seen his work up close and personal. And let me tell you, the man is "The Cue God"!

..Mike's way of reminding Chris that he was't doing all this work for nothing.

If it was mine it would say "No"....

Anyways Mike is a good guy and I know he'll fix whatever happened and he'll stand behind anything he committed to. Might be late, but will be worth it.

That cue probably looks better than when it was new LOL

I've seen Mike's finishes on quite a few cues, it looks great and will take a jackhammer to ding.

A friend of mine got a new dog, not a small one either, and it chewed on his Mike Webb cue. All it ended up with was a couple of tiny dents. He also once let it slip through his hands and it hit the side of his GCIII table a few times. No mark at all.

He mixes his own finish and must add diamond or something to it. If I ever want to be preserved like Walt Disney so that they can cure me in 1,000 years, I'd ask Mike to spray me with his finish instead of being frozen LOL
 
Came out beautifully.
Happy you and Mike got squared away and you're happy with the finished product. There is no one I would trust more with my cues more than Mike.
