I don't know a lot about Benders so I can't comment on the price.
What the original poster means is that if he sends $1200.00 to Singapore and you turn out to be a ripoff, that is don't send the cue, he has absolutely no recourse for going after you.
IMO, a very legitimate concern.

I would like to add a Bender to my collection and sell some of my cues but EBay is becomming a site for con artists.

There has been so many rip offs on EBay that everyone is getting leary about bidding on any cue on EBay especially from out of the country.

The problems are that the buyers don't get the item or the seller gets cheated out of payment because the buyer sent counterfeit money orders, cashiers checks etc.

Read some of the other posts in Wanted for Sale and you will see the problem.

Good luck and I feel for you and your situation but we all have the same problem with buying and selling because of problems that the con artists have created. Trying to sell something from Singapore, or anywhere in Asia throws up a red flag that bassically says beware.

That's sure a pretty piece of birdseye! You may want to consider an escrow exchange through Proficient Billiards to ensure everyone gets what is promised. I once bought a cue from Taipei through Proficient's escrow service. Split the costs. Worked out great. :p
